Nearpod
|
NEARPOD is an engaging way to keep track of the students' success during the presentation. The app or website allows students to be actively engaged. The reports option allows the teacher to examine the different scores of the students. You can borrow free interactive presentations or create your own. Nearpod allows the user to form a library of sources for future lessons or for students to study. |
iMovie Video Production
|
In EDIT 3220 at GC, a peer and I created a video production about cause & effect for an English Language Arts classroom with iMovie. Therefore, this presentation could be shown to a class as an example. The video focused on camera angles, content, and entertainment. |
Google Drawing
Google Drawing is useful to both teachers and students. And example for student work would be the concept map presented on the left. The student would be given terms and then they would have to research and add in links, videos, photos, and texts about the given topic. On the other hand, the photo to the right is an example of how teachers could use concept maps for units before they teach the concepts. |
Its Learning
When using itslearning, the students have direct access to their notes, their teachers comments, and many more options for each class. The student is able to log in to this at home or in the library. This platform is a great example of how to get the students active in the lessons because the teacher can differentiate through activities. |
iMovie Still Picture Production
|
This video production using iMovie consisted of still pictures and a voice over. This project would be used in an ELA classroom integrating technology or vice versa. This learning experience allows the student to use transitions, voice overs, quality pictures, and music while learning the content. |
