My love for education started when I was in the 6th grade. I was blessed by an encouraging community that admired education. My pre-kindergarten teacher instilled in me the love for learning. My kindergarten teacher taught me patience and kindness. My first grade teacher help me excel at reading. My second grade teacher taught me self-discipline. My third grade teacher taught me organization. My fourth and fifth grade teacher taught me consistency and love. My middle school and high school teachers taught me how to reach for the stars and chase my dreams. I loved being a high school teacher. I taught students that had different struggles than I did when I was their age. They changed my life for the better. To see my first group of students graduate was extremely rewarding as I saw all of their hard work walk across the stage. I am currently serving public schools as a school psychologist. I love discovering new ways to help students learn academics and learn their emotions. I love to read and write poetry. I always try to find time to hang out with my family and friends. I love to visit Disney World, Universal Studios, and the mountains. I have a dog named Olivia that is a sweet little pup. I have had Olivia since I was a senior in high school! If I could, I would have a pet sloth because they are my favorite animal. My favorite sports are baseball and softball but I love watching all sports. My main moto in life is to treat your job like a hobby and your life as your life! |
